This 2-day course is intended for clinicians with a good understanding of the principles of straightforward implant placement who would like to develop their range of treatment. With a focus on thorough treatment planning, emphasizing “crown-down” philosophies, participants are invited to present cases from their own practice for discussion with the interdisciplinary panel. This course will also explore options for treatment of ridge defi ciencies, presented through interactive discussion of recorded surgical procedures. Esthetic parameters involved in advanced cases will be discussed with a view to predictable results. The hands-on exercise will allow opportunity for application of principles learned. Course Objectives: • Recognize evidence based ITI consensus on issues such as immediate placement and loading protocols • Instinctively develop sequential treatment plans by understanding fundamentals of case diagnosis • Understand esthetic risk assessment (ERA) and surgical and prosthetic considerations for predictable outcomes • Review ridge augmentation techniques and materials, and discuss their efficacy and indications • Consider potential placement related complications and effective management of these Hands-on (porcine mandibles): • Advanced flap design • Deficiency creation • Augmentation • Membrane placement • Suture techniques Duration: 2 days Tuition: $1795 CDN plus applicable taxes Type: Lecture and hands-on Registration Policy: Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
