Webinar Description:

This webinar will address the challenges that the Dental Industry in Canada faces regarding the new Federal Plastics Registry, particularly what companies need to do to comply with professional reporting obligations due in September 2026. Claigan will offer valuable (and often humorous) insights to help businesses define their operational scope, illustrate practical reporting scenarios, and demonstrate how their process can effectively streamline the entire reporting process

    About the Speaker:

Bruce Calder serves as the VP of Operations at Claigan Environmental, where his expertise spans nearly two decades in handling restricted materials.  Claigan stands at the forefront as both the global authority on PFAS in products and on complying with the Canadian Federal Plastics Registry. His contributions include submitting technical insights and comprehensive testing data to regulatory bodies across the EU, US, Canada, and Australia, as well as to the United Nations.  Particularly noteworthy is Bruce’s research on the unintended presence of PFOA in products, positioning him as a key figure in shaping discussions for the UN Stockholm Convention’s impact on products.
